Susan has over twenty three years experience in sales and marketing support functions. Prior to joining Omega she was head of a Customer Services department in Critical Care products dealing directly with both distributors and medical personnel on a daily basis. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with both distributor and customer alike. She has a very professional and likable style of communication. She is also experienced in the preparation of exhibits and advertising materials.
Lindsay qualified as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in 1995 at Lothian College of Health Studies. During this time she acquired valuable experience at Stirling Royal Infirmary in General Surgery, Ophthalmology and Surgical Specialties. Gaining a BA in Nursing Studies from Strathclyde University in 2000 she then continued working as a Senior Staff nurse until 2002 where she joined the private sector as a Clinical Research Nurse with Charles River Laboratories and latterly Quintiles as a Clinical Research Nurse conducting Phase 1-3 Clinical Trials. In 2005 she joined Optos a Scottish based Biotechnology company as an Account Representative conducting initial training for Optometrists using the Optomap scanning laser Ophthalmoscope and providing ongoing education and support for Optometrists and clinical staff. She joined Omega Critical Care as Clinical Product Specialist in October 2007.
Lauren studied a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology at the University of the Free State in South Africa before deciding to return to the UK to pursue a career in Medical Sales in 2003. Lauren then joined Athrodax Healthcare, a distribution company, which exposed her to a wide variety of products in different sectors and she soon realised she wanted to be more specialised. She then joined Beaver Medical in 2005 where she began working in cardiac output with a non-invasive product. She joined the Omega Team as Sales Specialist in August 2007.
